Where are the original package offerings from picture day?
The HJClix.com website offers ala carte items. This allows you to build an order which suites your individual needs. Pre-determined package combinations made available on or before picture day are agreed upon by representatives of the school and our sales representative. Reorder prices may vary from what was offered on picture day.
What does the message "You have exceeded the number of times allowed to register for the website" mean?
We are extremely conscious of security on HJClix.com. The login process was designed to ensure that only authorized individuals have access to subject images. The claiming process is authenticated based on information provided on the package insert sheet. If information is entered incorrectly, or if someone else in your family has already registered, the message described above would be displayed. If you feel that you’ve reached this message in error, please contact customer service at 800-244-4373.
What if I have multiple children who attend the same school?Multiple subjects can be claimed to a single registered user account. To claim additional students to your account, add each additional Student Passcode, Record # and Security Key in the “Add Another Sitting” box. Click the submit button and the next student will appear in your account. This action can be repeated as many times as necessary. |

What if my child has his/her picture retaken?
Retakes receive a new package insert containing a new Student Passcode, Record # and Security Key. Therefore additional records may be claimed to a registered user account in the same way multiple subjects are added by following the instructions above.
When I search by zip code, I can't find my child's image.
The Picture Day Locator feature on our website allows you to check the availability of your schools picture day information. It does not allow the user to look up individual images.
What if I don't have the needed information to claim my Childs image?
Security is very important to us. We only allow authorized users to access student information. If you have misplaced your package insert,

What is Background Excitement?
You have the opportunity to personalize your portrait by choosing from one of four fun background colors.
Background options are: Blue, Hot Pink, Jade or Purple as shown below. If no background color choice is made, the Traditional background is used.

What is Retouching?Students don’t want a temporary blemish permanently displayed on their portrait. This service will soften harsh blemishes before printing. The result is a portrait far superior and much more satisfying to students and parents. Please note that retouching may not be available for all schools. |

What is Premier Touch?Premier Touch is a popular technique used by photographers that will soften facial blemishes and enhance your portrait. This technique is applied as your portrait is being printed. It is not retouching and will not remove blemishes. |

What is a pre-pay program?
You are able to make your selections on the flyer envelope provided and bring your package choices and payment to the photographer on picture day. All students are photographed for school records, but only those that purchase will receive a picture package.
When is picture day?
A notice is sent home with each student prior to picture day indicating the day of photography. If you lose your picture day flyer, a replacement can be picked up in the school office. You may also check the
Picture Day Locator to see if your school's picture day information is available online.
When is retake day?
Students will be notified of the retake day at school. You may also check the
Picture Day Locator to see if your school's retake day information is available.
What if I don't like my pictures?
With Herff Jones your satisfaction is guaranteed. If you are not pleased with your finished pictures you may return them for a full refund within 30 days of when you received your package.

What is Copyright Release? Can I copy my pictures?
The photographer who captures a student image is the owner of the copyright to that image. This is the policy mandated by the federal copyright laws. The copyright to an image can be transferred only through written permission. An understanding between the school photographer, the school and publishers of yearbooks and other school related uses allow such reproductions.
- If you do not want your child's portrait reproduced in any school publications please contact your school administration.
- If you wish to purchase additional portraits click here. Your package information sheet is required.
- If you wish to reproduce your/your child's portrait on a medium or product not offered in the reorders section of this site,
to send an email and it will be forwarded to your photographer. In some cases the photographer will grant permission for limited reproduction of the copyrighted image.

I forgot to send money on picture day. Can I still order?

I received my picture package, but my class/group picture was missing.
If it is a composite often they do not ship until a later date. These are individual student pictures printed together on one sheet which are proofed to the school for subject and name spelling accuracy before being produced by Herff Jones.
When we receive the absentees, we send a proof to the school to be checked closely to insure that all students are identified properly and are included in the right classroom. When the proof is returned, the class photos can be made and shipped to the school. This entire process may take several weeks after you receive your package of portraits.
We ordered multiple packages - can they be delivered separately?
We understand that some families would like to order multiple packages for parents and relatives. With Herff Jones, each package can be delivered in a separate package envelope with a customized insert indicating who the package is for. Please notify your photographer on picture day and he will make sure that your package is sent to the proper location.
What is the difference between Gift Wallets and Wallet Exchange? Which wallets are the smallest?
Gift Wallets measure 2 1/2 x 3 1/2". Wallet Exchange (the smallest) 1 3/4 x 2 1/2".
